Long Distance Friends

Friends should be able to not see each other for a very long time and still be close when they do see each other. They don't even have to talk to each other often to maintain that strong bond. Lucky for me, I had many friends that can be like this. Such as my friend Sophy who I haven't seen for years, but fortunately I spent some time with her last week. And now I'm in Cleveland, and basically all my Cleveland friends are like this. I see them like once or twice a year, or even less often, and it can be like we didn't even miss a day.

Perhaps its the distance that helps preserve these friendships. Its like that adage, distance makes the heart grow fonder. But I like to think that I just have really cool friends who truly are friends.
